Choosing Matteo to be our photographer was one of the easiest and by far best decisions we made in planning our wedding. Not only were his photos absolutely gorgeous and the perfect aesthetic for us, our wedding planner also used him for her own wedding so we knew right away it was the right choice.

Matteo was an absolute professional on our wedding day and he made my husband and I feel so comfortable throughout the day. He was able to capture the best shots while being almost invisible throughout. He had great ideas for our couples shoots and was very flexible in dealing with the changing backdrop and lighting to capture the perfect shots. My cousin is also a budding photographer and he took her under his wing and mentored her during the wedding day which was so incredible kind!

Receiving the final shots from Matteo within a month was incredible too. They were perfect in every way and we will forever be so grateful that we had Matteo as our photographer. An absolute professional but above all a truly wonderful human being too! Thank you so much Matteo!!!

As soon as Matteo arrived on our wedding day, I genuinely felt so relaxed. He has such a positive and calming attitude and it really felt like we were just hanging out with a friend all day. The “posed” photoshoot was relaxed and natural - and the candid photos he captured throughout the day are truly astonishing and will be heirlooms in my family forever. I cannot recommend Matteo highly enough. The quality of the photos and the timeframe they were delivered in - as well as his personality - made him worth every cent and more. The bottom line: We couldn’t have asked for a better experience from start to finish! The photos Matteo (and his collaborator, Simone) took were absolutely stunning, delivered incredibly fast, and captured the day beautifully. Matteo’s energy at the wedding was exactly what we hoped for — warm, calm, and confident. His pricing was fair, and he was honest, kind, and responsive every step of the way, both before and after the big day. We wholeheartedly recommend him!

We found Matteo through our venue’s list of recommended photographers, and the moment we saw his gallery, we fell in love with his style. That said, like many couples, we had several favorites and struggled to choose. After speaking with a few photographers, we stopped our search as soon as we spoke to Matteo. He immediately impressed us even more, put us at ease, and made us feel confident that he was the best choice. He was candid about his packages — what was essential, what he recommended, and what wasn’t necessary. No pressure, no upselling. Just honest advice. (His suggestion to add a second photographer was spot-on.) Matteo’s passion, his obvious love for the work, and the energy he brings to it really stuck with us.

Friends had told us to choose a photographer we’d want by our side for 8+ hours on a joyful, sometimes stressful day — and they were right. Matteo was that person for us. He gently guided us through a few posed shots, gave us the room to have input, and directed us without ever being pushy. He was flexible, funny, easy, and warm. Working with him was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we’re so grateful for it.

Seguivamo Matteo da molto tempo ma mai avremmo pensato di poter avere, un giorno, la fortuna di incontrarlo. Fin da subito abbiamo avuto l’impressione, poi confermata, di aver trovato la persona giusta. Quello che cercavamo, oltre ad un fotografo, era un vero e proprio complice che, letteralmente, “sposasse” la nostra folle idea: una cerimonia all’alba, in un rifugio di montagna, da soli!

Matteo, oltre ad essere un eccellente fotografo, è una bella persona, genuina e sincera, capace di ascoltare e capire, discreto e coinvolgente allo stesso tempo; il suo entusiasmo, la sua passione e la sua creatività sono stati il valore aggiunto alla nostra avventura che, senz’altro, senza di lui non sarebbe stata la stessa.

All I could say is wow!! Matteo was our wedding photographer and he went above and beyond. He is somebody who knows how to take advantage of the surroundings and lighting to create incredible photos. Where do I begin! Matteo was absolutely excellent at capturing our special moment/engagement photos in Rome, Italy. We had the pleasure of working with Matteo and his assistant Alessio for our wedding photos in June 2023 at the San Galgano Abbey in Tuscany. Selecting them was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. Having admired Matteo's previous work at the Abbey, we had high hopes for our own photos, and he exceeded every expectation.

Despite not having met Matteo before and considering I'm not normally comfortable in front of a camera, he managed to instantly put us at ease from the moment he arrived. His ability to build rapport and create a relaxed atmosphere made us forget they were even there for most of the day.

In just a few days after the wedding, Matteo shared a large selection of preview photos that we loved, and we couldn’t quite believe there were even more to come! Within a month, our complete library of photos was ready and this is where we faced our first problem – how do we choose favourites when we adore every single one?!

Matteo is a true professional, and I recommend him to anyone who will listen. We are forever grateful to him and his team for expertly documenting our special day, capturing not only the guests but also the special moments, the laughter, and the emotions. Where to begin? It’s been two years since our magical wedding day in Tuscany, and we owe a lot of that day to Matteo + his assistant Alessio. I say this because without his skillful eye, pure talent, and their attentiveness throughout our wedding day, there is a lot we would’ve missed + have not been able to look back on.

We chose to go with Matteo because his work felt editorial, organic, and overall, just absolutely stunning. Aside from his beautiful work, him + Alessio were incredibly easy + a lot of fun to work with. We almost forgot they were there, and that is in fact a great mark of any amazing photographer- fading into the background so you can just organically enjoy the moments while they capture them. Our good friends who were doing the videography for our wedding day commented on how easy Matteo was to work alongside with and wished all photographers were as gracious and accommodating as him + Alessio!

His ease and comfortability behind the lens was so effortless that we never felt staged, or forced, and on a wedding day, that was so important to us, and it reflects in our wedding photos. Without asking, he was quick to send us a few edited shots less than 48 hours later which meant a lot considering we had a very small wedding. So, to be able to share a few snapshots from our day with family and friends abroad, was priceless!

We are forever grateful to Matteo + Alessio for capturing a huge milestone in our lives, for being so easy to work with, and for providing us memories that we will fondly look back on forever! Thank you, is not enough!
