We are Manuelle and Robin, and after our engagement in 2024 we decided to celebrate our wedding in Tuscany (autumn 2025). We ultimately chose Villa La Selva as our venue and hosted around 75 guests. From the very first interaction with Daniela and her team, we immediately felt we were in the right hands. They replied quickly, professionally, and even included initial location suggestions in their very first message. Their professionalism and experience were evident from the beginning.

When searching for the perfect venue, we felt fully supported and guided. After visiting only five locations, it was clear which one was “the one.” Daniela and her lovely team were extremely transparent regarding costs and workload throughout the entire planning process. Although we ultimately went slightly over our initial budget, we were rewarded with an absolutely dreamlike wedding…well worth every bit of it. All of our ideas and wishes were taken seriously and implemented beautifully. The time planning was impeccable; we were ahead of schedule with nearly everything, which gave us a wide range of choices and kept the process relaxed. Even when spontaneous challenges appeared, Daniela and her team managed them calmly and professionally.

During the wedding weekend itself, Daniela and her team were perfectly prepared and incredibly well organized. We were able to hand everything over to them and simply enjoy our time. They were always present and available whenever we needed them, yet they handled everything discreetly in the background. Their presence felt supportive without ever being intrusive, truly the perfect balance.

Looking back, we are deeply grateful for the amazing collaboration and the immense dedication shown by Daniela and her entire team. It is clear that this is not just a job for them; they put their hearts into their work. They gifted us a weekend we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Our planner Katia was super responsive, well versed in the areas vendors, and would help me shape my vision into a reality. I am a very detail oriented person, so non stop questions and change requests for Katia was a regular experience for her and she always approached me with kindness, her perspective, and ultimately support of whatever I decided! Mother of the bride, here, to sing the highest praises of Katia and The Tuscan Wedding team. My last child of four got married in Tuscany last week and from start to finish of the planing, everything was perfection! And that is saying a lot having planned an overseas wedding / vacation for 70 from
the US. We initially interviewed five different planning services via Zoom but when we met Katia my daughter and I knew immediately she and The Tuscan Wedding were the perfect match. From the first meeting online Katia shared a presentation letting us know what we could expect and when throughout the 18 months we would plan together. One of the details I remember most from that initial meeting that held true through the wedding itself was Katia sharing that she would always have a team behind her — each offering their own expertise. We were presented with a mood board and budget update reflecting my daughter’s vision and they were updated regularly as plans changed or estimates came in. Katia was fantastic about offering us options at different price points for various vendors — all of whom had been well vetted. Daniela, the owner of The Tuscan Wedding, a highly creative person and key designer, was also wonderful to consult with when we did our one in-person visit which only added to our overall confidence in The Tuscan Wedding. And as amazing as everything looked and tasted during the three-day event, recognizing that we cared most about our guests’ experiences and helping us make all so smooth for family and friends was the best part of all. Do not hire them! Absolute disaster, hundreds of thousands of dollars later. I strongly discourage you from using this team. I spent nearly a year correcting Daniela and her team’s mistakes. She must be getting kickbacks from all the vendors as she was constantly responsible for rates going astronomically higher after we signed contracts. I would have to redo her work or sometimes just find my own vendors. By the way, my vendors were always significantly cheaper than the ones Daniela recommended The calls with her were so inefficient. Talking in circles and never getting anything handled.

The day of our wedding was an absolute disaster. My dad ended up three rows back at my wedding ceremony after confirming the seating the morning on the event. The caterers mixed up my husband’s allergy and served him food he’s allergic to. We tried to locate the planner and no one was insight to correct these mistakes. Half of my guests never ate their entrees because Daniela completely mismanaged the timing of our wedding. They pulled everyone out of their dinner seats to run and see fire works in the middle of the dinner… it was atrocious and I’ve never seen anything like that. The event was so poorly lit, after spending thousand and thousands on lighting, that my husband had to hold a phone to light up the paper for my parents’ speeches. Her staff told me I was interfering and drunk on my wedding day… completely inappropriate and untrue. Then when we did our entrance to the dinner, her team announced “Mr and Mrs. Karen.” Thats not our last name. Embarrassing for them, even more embarrassing for us.

My husband and I are professionals. I’m an attorney and he’s an investor. We throw events ALL THE TIME. I caution you… don’t trust this team with your special day. You will be taken advantage of and you will be miserable with the results. It is SO sad that this is our memory of our wedding. Truly awful.

A little more than one year later, and we're finally sitting down to intentionally reflect on how essential The Tuscan Wedding was to our magnificent wedding. It went smoothly from the day we hired them, through our COVID-postponement, to our departure week.

Of critical importance for an outdoor event is the weather, and Daniela will tell you that she can't control the weather. However, we're convinced she's only being humble and doesn't want to reveal her magic powers! Rain and high winds were forecasted throughout our weekend, and somehow, our wedding day was bright and sunny! Nevertheless, they came prepared with a full back-up plan.

In all actuality, Daniela's team is phenomenal. I'm an over-planner and anxious person and was no different when we needed to vet overseas wedding planners to find someone we trusted and felt comfortable with. The Tuscan Wedding paired us with Francesca, who unfortunately had to leave the firm during COVID. Daniela and her team took extra care to ensure we felt that things were under control and we'd be taken care of. Their consideration and communication was of special importance when we opted to postpone our wedding due to COVID. Within 48-hours we had confirmation that all our vendors confirmed our new date.

We had a small wedding of 22 people, but it didn't feel small. We were nervous about vendor minimums considering our budget and limited number of people. Daniela worked with them, and the vendors opted to add some complementary features and/or services that really took the event to the next level.

The Tuscan Wedding made sure we felt that we were priority number one for them and all our vendors. If anyone had trouble booking a room, they would personally call the venue. One time, they offered to drive over if we had any further issues. We never had a problem after that, and the venue remained accommodative.

Two days before the wedding, during our site visit, we were reassured that The Tuscan Wedding was the right planner. Daniela is a Boss. We were apprehensive about a couple parts of the plan, but the changes we asked for were no issue. A little back-and-forth between Daniela and the venue's manager resulted in staff being called to confirm all the changes would be made. Easy!

Daniela assured us that they would make sure the day-of went smoothly, even when we opted not to have a rehearsal. The team made sure everyone was where they needed to be, we were pointed exactly where to go, and they made sure that they stayed out of the way of everything. There wasn't a single hiccup and we had nothing to worry about.

From the time we arrived in the country and throughout the event, her and her team were in regular contact, and available for our families. At the beginning, we had fairly limited vision for what the day could be, and the whole event was more than we ever imagined. One more recommendation, if you haven't already decided to book them: just say "yes" when they suggest fireworks.

We could not be more grateful for everything they did for us, we'll cherish the memories they helped us create, and we can't wait to have Daniela plan our 10-year anniversary party.

We had the most incredible wedding, rehearsal and planning season from start to finish. From the very beginning, Martina and Frederico were on top of every single detail and decision. After every call, they provided a follow-up with our updated budget and items that needed to be completed. All while we formed an amazing relationship with our planners who listened to our every opinion and idea, then executed it to perfection with patience and dedication. It was surprisingly a very stress-free planning process.

As for the wedding weekend, words alone are not enough for how unbelievable our entire celebration was, thanks to our planners! It was well beyond our imagination. Every detail was thought of. Every minute was perfectly planned. We had the most memorable weekend of our lives. Our family and friends could not have been more impressed with the planning and organization our planners provided throughout the weekend. They even hand-sewed a ripped dress of a bridesmaid. They were there cleaning up and planning till 4AM and back at 7AM to start prepping for the next event. We were blown away by their hard work.

It's difficult to plan a wedding abroad when you're so far and can't see every option available in person. Finding a team of planners that you trust is essential. It allows you to focus on enjoying your time, instead of worrying about the food, timing, planning, guests, etc. Martina and Frederico did just that. We could not be more grateful to our talented planners for making our dream wedding possible. I would recommend them to any family/friend considering a wedding in Tuscany. I honestly can't thank The Tuscan Wedding Team enough! Where do I even start? Daniela, Viola, and the whole team were incredibly responsive, helpful and accommodating throughout the entire wedding planning process. My husband and I are both extremely busy healthcare workers, and despite our shiftwork and the six hour time difference, the team always made time for our calls and questions. Between the hundreds of emails and countless video chats, the team somehow kept my vision organized and cohesive. I am very particular and detail-oriented, and Daniela and her team exceeded my expectations. Our intimate Tuscan Wedding was something out of a fairy-tale. My Aunt and Uncle in Canada have an Event Planning business and my uncle said this was the most organized, flawless wedding he has ever seen. All of our guests were shocked how everything from the timing of the church ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to our entrance music was spot on. Daniela and her team were on the ball the entire day and it could not have gone any better. My husband and I were incredibly impressed by every single one of our vendors. Many of our guests even commented that everything from the food, drinks, service, flowers and décor, photographers, and DJ were all impeccable. Daniela and her team helped us choose vendors that they recommend, but also that were within our budget which is so important. She guided us on where we could cut back, and where we should focus more of our budget to have the most impact.
Looking back, I really can’t believe how much her team planned for us. We had a full catholic ceremony and they helped us with all of the documentation required for that. They also helped us plan every detail of our Villa reception: the cocktail hour in the garden, the al fresco dinner in front of the Villa, the cutting of the cake in the courtyard, to the party and dancing inside the Villa.
Planning a destination wedding in Italy, especially with not knowing the language, would have been incredibly difficult without Daniela and her team. But planning our dream wedding would have impossible. I have zero regrets with how our wedding turned out, and I would highly recommend Daniela and her team to anyone who is thinking about getting married in Italy. The Tuscan Wedding team made my dream come true, and it is a day my husband, our guests and I will never forget! xoxo

Daniela and her team are our superheroes and we owe it all to them for helping us pull off a perfect wedding. We wouldn’t have been able to plan our dream destination wedding in Italy without them. I can’t even begin to express how incredible they are. They are masters at staying on top of it, consistently communicating on a daily basis, and easing the inevitable wedding planning stress. They truly went above and beyond for us and trust me, we really needed it considering the huge nightmare we faced. To preface, both my husband and I have crazy work schedules. When he proposed, I knew I needed a find, a planner I could trust to completely take the reigns. However, 4 months before our wedding, the worst possible thing happened. Our planner stopped responding to us, and we quickly learned what we thought was being taken care of… wasn’t AT ALL. I desperately scrambled to find a new planner and fortunately our florist, Flowers Living, referred us to The Tuscan Wedding. Daniela heard about our struggles and scheduled a meeting with us the same week. The call went so well that my fiancé and I signed the contract and sent a deposit the day after.

Daniela was so gracious and patient with us. Our wedding was only 10% done when we started working with The Tuscan Wedding. There was no time to waste, so I really needed to figure out what I wanted and make decisions quickly and confidently. As an interior designer myself, I had very specific requests, ideas, and concepts that I knew was not an easy task for Daniela and her amazing team. But they did not disappoint one bit! Everything I conveyed to Daniela, she made a reality. In many ways, I’m so happy that we dealt with that unfortunate ordeal, because we wouldn’t have gotten the opportunity to work with Daniela and The Tuscan Wedding team.

Daniela is not only an exceptional wedding planner; she is also so incredibly genuine and kind. We believe we gained a new friend for a lifetime and hope we’ll get together every time we visit Florence. She exceeded our expectations with her level of professionalism, vast vendor contacts, high touch communication, and genuine dedication to making her clients happy. Daniela, Viola, and the rest of the team at the Tuscan Wedding made our two day multicultural wedding in May of 2019 unforgettable. Daniela's clearly well-established relationships with the wedding vendors helped to provide a flexible approach to planning our wedding from the US. We visited Italy once in September of 2018 before our wedding. Daniela had arranged food tastings with potential caterers, a site visit to the venue, a visit out to the florist, and a hair and makeup trial over the course of a weekend trip. That visit ran like a well oiled machine. During any wedding planning process, there are ups and downs. Were we over budget? Yes. Have I met many couples that didn't go over budget? No. We wouldn't change a thing- Daniela was excellent at making the time difference work for us and helped us navigate some of the differences in the wedding industry in Italy vs the US. When it came to the wedding itself, I couldn't possibly have enough good things to say. The weekend was flawless- if there were hiccups we never felt it. Daniela and her team were so on top of everything, and it was more beautiful and seamless than we ever imagined that it could be. We love the Tuscan Wedding team, and cannot recommend them enough.

I must have skyped with 10 wedding planners before landing on Daniela at The Tuscan wedding. As soon as we started talking I knew instantly that this was the wedding planner for me! Daniela and her team made our special day so absolutely perfect!
