We spent a beautiful 3 days here. Our party of 12 thoroughly enjoyed the Villa, the area and the wine. The Villa was spacious and very well equipped. We had the entire 5 rooms for our party and this includes large common areas and amenities. Breakfast was provided daily in the common area between 8 and 10 AM. Our hostess, Katia, was exceptional. Her presence for breakfast and her services in the villa were so appreciated. This made the stay have the positive and private qualities of a very nice Airbnb, but with the addition of outstanding hotel service. We had a tour and lunch at the winery which was delightful. We would highly recommend this experience and the wine we enjoyed was outstanding.

My husband and I had our wedding here, and it was absolutely beautiful. The location is stunning, historic, and perfectly situated close to Florence. There were great backup options in case of rain, which gave us real peace of mind. We truly enjoyed ourselves from start to finish, it was a magical and unforgettable setting.

This was the most magical place for a relaxed, peaceful holiday! The villa is stunning, historical and offers a unique experience of the Tuscan life. Our room was beautiful, very spacious and with a gorgeous view of the Tuscan landscape. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the girls at reception offered us great advice about possible places to visit and things to do during our stay, so even if you don’t have a plan, it’s easy to figure your day out. They were also very helpful with making dinner reservations for us almost every day. We truly enjoyed the breakfast, prepared by the lovely Katia, who would always greet us with a smile and a tasty cappuccino :) I cannot wait to go back, it was effortless, tranquil experience in this slice of heaven which is Tuscany. Highly recommend!

A Fairytale Wedding at Villa Medicea di Lilliano – October 2025 (73 guests)

We had the most magical, fairytale wedding we could have ever dreamed of at Villa Medicea di Lilliano. Everything about our stay was absolute perfection. Villa Corte and Villa Torre were ideal for our 73 guests—spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed to create a fun, social atmosphere where everyone could gather and relax together. The location was perfect as well—only 20 minutes from the Florence city center, making it so convenient for guests staying in the city.

Each morning, the breakfast spread was truly over the top, featuring fresh fruit, eggs, pastries, cheeses, and more. The staff were incredibly accommodating, generous, and always eager to help. They went above and beyond, staying available via WhatsApp to answer any questions or arrange rides to and from the villas. They even surprised us by ordering takeout on our last night so we could enjoy a relaxing evening in with everyone after the wedding—such a thoughtful touch that meant so much to us. Their kindness and attentiveness made our entire three-night stay unforgettable.

We also hosted an after-wedding event at the winery, which was an absolute highlight. The experience included a wine tasting, a fascinating tour of the cellars, and a delicious lunch featuring the most incredible lasagna and olive-oil tastings.

The property itself is breathtaking and offers endless possibilities for creating unique moments throughout your celebration. We held our ceremony on the terrace, cocktail hour in the garden, cake cutting in front of the villa, and dinner and reception inside the Limonia—it was like a dream brought to life.

A huge thank-you to Chiara, Lorenzo, Cami, and the entire Villa team for making our wedding weekend more than we could have ever imagined. This place is truly special, with views that take your breath away and hospitality that makes you feel like family. We cannot wait to see our wedding photos and are already counting down the days until we can return for an anniversary celebration someday!

When my husband and I were searching for a wedding venue for our destination wedding, it was important for us to find somewhere that had a blend of Tuscan beauty, Italian history, communal spaces so that we could bring just under 100 of our closest family and friends together, and proximity to Florence. Villa Medicea di Lilliano has all of that! ||From the moment we first looked at the property, we were taken by all the beautiful different spaces that the property had from the Terrace where we had our Welcome Party and Ceremony, to the Garden where we did our Aperitivo and Dinner, and the Limonaia Banquet Hall where we had our dancing. Each space was more amazing than the next for both us and our guests. They are all picturesque, making our photos and videos from the wedding stunning!||Villa Medicea also offers the ability for a large number of guests to stay on site in their La Corte and La Torre Villas! We were able to host 31 of our family on site with us for the whole weekend. Each of the Villas was beautifully charming and had all the amenities you would need for a weekend stay! (Plus more amazing, picturesque views!) A breakfast spread is included and is the perfect way to start your mornings on the property. ||The staff for Villa Medicea is friendly and helpful and really focused on making sure your stay on the property and use of the spaces for your events exceeds your expectations. A special thank you to Holly, Camilla, Ilaria, Matteo and Lorenzo who were all available for anything we needed during our wedding weekend… we really appreciate it!||We also have to mention how great the wine and olive oil are. Throughout the year planning and the wedding weekend, we have enjoyed many of the different types of Melanchini wine and olive oils. Each of them is great in their own ways! Our wedding guests were very happy with the wine at the wedding and really enjoyed each glass! We cannot wait to continue to drink the wine and bring ourselves back to our amazing wedding weekend at Villa Medicea di Lilliano!||If you are considering a wedding or even just a stay at Villa Medicea, we highly recommend it as it is a true gem of Tuscany!

La experiencia fue excelente en la Villa Medicea Di Lilliano porque fue como transportarse a otra época pero con todas las comodidades actuales y en un entorno espectacular. La Villa es preciosa con unos jardines divinos! La atención es muy personalizada y todo el personal atento y eficiente con ese toque cálido que te hace sentir de vacaciones pero en casa. Mi cuarto era muy grande, cómodo, y muy bonito decorado al estilo de la época de los Medicis, con todo lo necesario para la ducha, zapatillas de cama y caja fuerte. Con una espectacular vista hacia el jardín donde se veía la mejor caída de sol. |100% recomendado!

Es precioso, grande, cómodo.|Es una gran casona, con 6 enormes dormitorios que comparten comedor, cocina completamente equipada, sala de estar y un patio maravilloso.|El desayuno es exquisito, variado., lo dejan a las 8:00 en la cocina y tu lo vas a buscar cuando quieras.|Volvería de todas maneras!

Nos alojamos 4 noches en uno de los apartamentos de La Torre, que es un edificio independiente de la Villa principal. Todo es impecable, desde la decoración, la comodidad de las camas, los ambientes y baños gigantes. Lindisimo y funcional.||Estuvimos en invierno, hacía mucho frío asi que no pudimos disfrutar de la pileta y jardines, pero sí de la maravillosa vista desde los enormes ventanales, al calor de la calefacción o la salamandra.||La ubicación es perfecta, a 15 minutos del centro de Florencia (desde la ventana de mi cuarto se veía el Duomo!!), y al borde de la ruta para recorrer el Chianti, la zona más pintoresca de Toscana.||Eric y su equipo nos ayudaron en todo momento con recomendaciones en la zona, qué hacer, reservas en restaurants, y hasta delivery de pizza al apartamento!.||Imperdible la recorrida por la Villa principal, que perteneció a los Medici, como sacada de un cuento.
