We had an unforgettable visit to Villa il Pozzo Winery during our time in Tuscany. We happened to be the only guests (it was raining) on our tour, yet Donato welcomed us as if we were old friends and spent a full 90 minutes sharing the estate's history, flavor, and heart. His enthusiasm for local agriculture—from the vineyards to the olive groves—was genuine and infectious. You walk away not just tasting great products, but understanding the land and passion behind them.||The wine was superb, beautifully expressing the region's character. But to our surprise, the olive oil was every bit as outstanding—rich, balanced, and truly memorable. It’s rare to find a place where both are crafted at such a high level.|If you’re anywhere near the area, we highly recommend making this a stop. Villa il Pozzo offers not only exceptional products but an authentic, personal experience that captures the very best of Tuscany.

Ce fut une expérience inoubliable de pouvoir connaître l’histoire de cette cave tout en dégustant de très bons vins locaux. Donatto a su capté notre attention du début à la fin malgré la vue exceptionnelle capable de déconcentrer. Je recommande fortement !

Eine wunderschöne Villa in einer herrlichen Umgebung. Das Appartement war mehr als großzügig und bestens ausgestattet. Sehr gute Betreuung Vor-Ort. Angenehmer Poolbereich mit ausreichend Schatten zum Entspannen. Unverzichtbar während dieser heißen Tage im August. Die Klimaanlage hat gute Dienste geleistet.

We celebrated our wedding weekend in June and fell in love with the villa as soon as we saw the views! We couldn’t imagine having celebrated anywhere else. Ute and the team at Villa il Pozzo go above and beyond for their guests. They helped organise anything we needed, kept the villa immaculate and Ute is the life and soul of the villa. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der Villa il Pozza! Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, fröhlich und aufmerksam – man spürt sofort die herzliche Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft, mit wunderschöner Aussicht auf die umliegende Landschaft. Besonders genossen haben wir den köstlichen Wein, den man dort in aller Ruhe probieren und genießen kann. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp für alle, die Erholung, Genuss und Gastfreundschaft suchen. Überall finden sich liebevoll gesammelte Kleinigkeiten – der Hausherr schafft damit eine ganz persönliche, lebendige Atmosphäre, in der es immer wieder Neues zu entdecken gibt.

Sono stato a Villa Pozzo per quattro notti, questo Agosto 2025, e ho trovato il posto veramente eccezionale, oltre ogni aspettativa.
Le stanze bellissime e spaziose, la posizione eccezionale, un bellissimo panorama, la piscina di ottime dimensioni e anch'essa con vista mozzafiato. Insomma tutto quanto serve per rilassarsi a contatto con la natura, ma allo stesso tempo godere di ogni comodità. Dotata anche di diverse zone con pergole e tavoli/sedie dove fare un aperitivo al tramonto. Anche la ragazza Herjola, che gestisce il posto, molto cortese e disponibile. Consigliato vivamente.

Staying at this villa was truly a dream come true. The view is absolutely breathtaking - every moment feels like you're living inside a painting. The garden is lush and peaceful, wherever you look you have jaw dropping view around you. and the pool is beyond my words, always very calm perfect place to relax and soak it all in.
The staff were very nice. Herjola is amazing! very nice to talk to person and very attentive. The lunch area is something special also. Beautiful and full of charm. They were also incredibly kind with our dog!
Honestly, the pictures don't do this place justice, it's even more magical in real life. This villa feels like a fairytale

Fuimos de paso para Certaldo y nos paramos por curiosidad. Salimos muy satisfechos y encantados con el trato recibido. Donato nos hizo probar el rosado. Floral, fresco con un toque ácido, muy placentero. Más que aconsejable.

Wir hatten ein phänomenales Wochenende in der Villa il Pozzo. Die Aussichten auf die toskanische Landschaft sind grandios, ebenso die Gastgeberin Ute. In ein paar Monaten werden wir hier Gast bei einer Hochzeit sein, inkl. vier Tagen Aufenthalt. Ich bin mir sicher, dass dies das Highlight des Jahres sein wird.

Nous avons rencontré Donato lors de notre séjour en Italie. Nous avions pris un tour guidé pour visiter des vignobles dans la Vallée du Chianti. Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de passer la nuit sur place, mais il est évident que si l'opportunité se représente, nous n'hésiterons pas une seule seconde. Le domaine est tout simplement magnifique. De plus, le tour de Donato est vraiment amusant, intéressant et accessible, même pour ceux qui ne sont pas très familiers avec les vins. Il nous parle également des oliviers et de l'huile d'olive, montrant à quel point il est passionné ! Nous avons dégusté d'excellents produits sur place et en avons ramené quelques-uns à la maison que nous sommes impatients de partager avec nos amis au Québec ! Je recommande vivement cet endroit, vous ne le regretterez pas, et la vue... que dire de la vue ! WOW !!

Muy buen lugar para hacer una cata de vinos o simplemente estar tranquilamente probando un vino en su terraza con las vistas que ofrece el sitio. A parte corona la experiencia la amabilidad de Donato!! Sitio super recomendable cuando visitas Certaldo!!

Deambulando por la Toscana hemos dado con este precioso lugar, con unas privilegiadas vistas panorámicas de los valles y colinas cercanas. Antigua y bella propiedad dedicada a la producción de vino y aceite en la que ofrecen experiencias guiadas. Realmente hospitalarios y apasionados por el producto. Gracias Donato

Los apartamentos de Villa il Pozo esconden una atmosfera rural, localizados en una fantastica Villa. Grandes espacios, amplias habitaciones y baño y cocina de aspecto rustico pero plenamente funcionales. ||Lo mejor, sin duda, los jardines que envuelven la Villa y su piscina, desde la que disfrutar del paisaje tipicamente toscano. Un mar de olivos, cipreses, viñas con las torres de San Gimignano al horizonte. Un lugar ideal para relajarse y disfrutar de las puestas de sol.||La localización, entre Siena y Florencia es perfecta para explorar la Toscana.
