Fairytale wedding!

After my now wife and I visited Italy a few years ago, it was our dream to do a destination wedding here, and we simply could not have pulled it off without Roberta! She was the perfect wedding planner in helping us organize every detail of the event. Everything was tracked on a shared budget and planning sheet that made it very easy to stay organized and on track.

She provided great, affordable vendor options that turned out perfectly and really made the day so special. Throughout the year+ of planning the wedding week, she offered to do zoom calls, be available on WhatsApp for any questions, and continued to support all our wishes for the big day. Roberta was very helpful with giving creative guidance and providing solutions to achieve the wedding that we wanted without breaking the budget.

She helped us find the perfect venue for all our guests to stay, with fantastic food for a welcome pizza party, wedding day, and post wedding BBQ dinner. Roberta also used her extensive experience and vendor contacts to find us the perfect musicians that were the highlight of the day, and a beautiful florist.

We will forever be grateful to Roberta for her amazing work in planning the perfect fairytale wedding for us in Umbria!

She is a fabulous listener, seeking to understand YOU and helping you realise your vision. If you need ideas, she recommends. If you need creativity, she has wonderful ideas. If you need some creative ways to cut costs, she can rise to the challenge. If you have certain aspects that you are NOT willing to compromise, she can rise to high standards. I found her incredibly adaptable but also clear and fair when it was necessary. She’s a beautiful combination of lightness, fun and support mixed with boundaries and clarity. Roberta made our fairytale wedding come to life as even more magical and dreamy than we could have ever imagined. She took care of all of our needs and concerns from the very start when we decided to have our wedding at Villa Agape.

Planning a wedding from half way around the world can create anxiety, but Roberta assured us that everything would be taken care of every step of the way. All of the vendors and staff that she helped us hire were exceptional, and extremely accommodating to meet all of our personal and guests' needs.

As soon as we arrived on site at the villa, my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything other than being with family and friends. The events we arranged through her including pre-wedding rehearsal dinners & cocktail parties were carried out seamlessly.

The most wonderful magical time.
Roberta was brilliant from start to finish even all the way through the Covid lockdowns. She was so efficient and understanding and put my mind at ease being in another country. Roberta guided me and advised me when help was needed. She has a special relationship with the venue owners, Celebrant, photographer, DJ etc, which really helps. Roberta works so hard to make the day so special for everyone. Faultless in everyway.

I’ve been trying to write a review for Roberta for a while now, and I’ve come to the conclusion that I cannot do her justice in just a few words.

We were undecided on whether to use a planner or not when we first met Roberta, but almost instantly she made us feel at home. She listened, understood what we were looking for, made some wonderful suggestions and gave us time to consider our options - in complete contrast to some of the other extremely pushy planners we met! She laid out a budget that aligned with our priorities and did her best to keep us to it (unforeseen issues related to covid crept it up in the end). She was patient when we were indecisive; resilient and supportive when covid forced 2 postponements; and laser-focused when we decided to go for it with just a few weeks to go.

On the day – she was simply amazing. We were in awe with how beautiful everything looked! We felt relaxed throughout the entire day and could just sit back and enjoy it all. Everything went even better than we could have imagined and I’ve no doubt that Roberta was working extremely hard behind the scenes to ensure that everything went without a hitch. We’re still receiving so many wonderful comments from guests about how amazing everything from the venue, to the food, to the little touches were, and so many of them have commented on how lovely our planner was. Our flower girl in particular completely fell in love and still talks about the ‘lovely lady’ that helped her at our wedding!

We had the intimate, outdoor wedding we’d always dreamed of and there’s no way we could have pulled it off by ourselves.

Choosing to go with Roberta was the single best decision we made – she is a wonderful wedding planner that we simply cannot thank or recommend enough.
