If I could describe Georgia in three words: Respectful, Caring, and Brilliant. As a young couple, we are often treated differently. This was never a concern with Georgia. Georgia always made us feel welcome. We felt like we were a priority and it was so refreshing. Wether I needed to set up a quick meeting or to get an answer by email, Georgia was always accessible. Being hundreds or thousands of miles away from my family and bridesmaids, I still felt like I had all the support I needed because Georgia was there for me.

Planning a wedding, sight unseen, is an anxiety inducing process. We choose our vendors, venue, and catering from, quite literally, a word away. We had to trust in Georgia, Laura, and her team of amazing vendors. We have no regrets! Beyond trust, Georgia took the time to go over each detail with us. Her graphics were clear and communicative, so we knew we were in good hands from the start.

On the day of my wedding it rained. The rain was on and off and I was feeling extremely blue over it. We could not use the original site and Georgia had to quickly set up an alternative. When Georgia finished setting up, the rain began to fade and she was not satisfied. As soon as the rain stopped, Georgia, Laura, and her team moved the entire set up to a third location under a beautiful tree. It was perfect. This is what I love about Georgia; she did not stop even though she had done her part and it would have been easy to do so. She was relentless
in giving us the wedding of our dreams.

The day after our wedding, my husband said he wished he could relive the exact same day over again. Apparently that is not something grooms say, but to us it felt perfectly natural. Our guests agreed that the wedding was by far the best that they had ever seen. I can’t say enough good things about Georgia.

The best decision we made during our wedding planning process was to hire Georgia. She and Laura made what is typically a stressful process feel seamless.

We are based in the US and relied entirely on Georgia's recommendations when booking vendors. They all worked out perfectly, and the weekend went without any hiccups - or at least, none that were made aware to us, which is another testament to Georgia and her team. Throughout the whole process, if there were any issues that arose, they had either already resolved it before we were made aware or they had came to us with solutions, which truly took so much stress and pressure off of us.

Our welcome party and wedding day turned out even better than we could have imagined. We couldn't recommend Georgia and her team enough!

Georgia Louise Weddings were incredible during the process of planning our wedding. Georgia and Laura are such a beautiful duo and really take the time to walk you through every step. The selection of vendors they work with are unbelievable at what they do and Georgia gave the best recommendations for the vibe we wanted at the wedding.
Being naturally a highly anxious person, Georgias team were so amazing with all communication and constantly reassuring! I lost count the amount of times Georgia told me to calm down and relax! Which is exactly what you need to hear when planning a wedding from Australia!
Our wedding was more than we could off ever dreamed of. All of Georgia and Laura's suggestions for design really did transform our wedding and the extra surprise details they did for us on the day just showed how much they go above and beyond for you.

Before reviewing I want to thank Laura and Georgia Louise again for creating magic on our wedding day. There are not enough thank yous to show our gratitude. My husband and I wish we could relive that day over and over again. It was perfect.

Laura picked up my wedding planning from a previous planner and seamlessly continued the planning. She is so organized and immediately organized files, contracts, payments and everything under the sun. She is kind and patient, and any question or idea I had she had a thoughtful, creative and methodical response. She was so accessible too, especially given the time difference as I am located in NYC. She answered every email and Zoom call promptly. Even nearing the wedding, she gave me her What’s App information as I was not the best email responder. We sent voicenotes to each other and she made sure everything was ready to go before I arrived in Lake Como for the wedding. She truly wanted us to have peace the days leading up to the wedding. On wedding day she handled everything. I was in my own little getting readying bubble. We had a problem with a payment to a vendor that was sent to a wrong account and she quickly found a solution and a couple days after the wedding made sure we are refunded the money sent to the wrong account. I had no stress on wedding day and will always be grateful to her for that. She kept us all in a wedding bliss bubble. Laura is just… WOW!

I can’t wait to get my photos and video and relive the best day ever. Georgia and Laura, we are so appreciative and grateful for you. Thank you for making our dreams come true.

Being from England it was hard to put your faith in someone who you have never met and who lives in a different country. We actually met with a few wedding planners across different countries as we could not decide where to get married. As soon as we met Georgia we instantly knew we wanted to pick her to be our planner, she was so warm and reassuring, informative and realistic with expectations which we appreciated. In the end we decided to marry in Ibiza and Georgia still went above and beyond, and was able to speak Spanish with our vendors making it an easier process, she is very talented!. Throughout the whole of our planning journey she was sooo easy to communicate with. ALWAYS responsive as fast as she could be, and whenever we were stressed or worried about something she was so calming and would say "don't worry there is always a solution".
Sometimes that is exactly all you need to hear.
She can also be firm when needed and does fight for her couple when vendors are being a little difficult with details!! We could tell how hard working she is and how many weddings she had but still managed to make you feel special and would make the time for us, even though she probably had 101 things happening at once with other couples. Very organised and actually listened to what we wanted and figured our style out so quickly, making suggestions about vendors and choices to fit us. On the day itself would you believe it rained... Georgia was so fast and went into wedding planner mode arranging a plan B for us asap and getting herself soaked in the process. She really does care about you as a couple.
Georgia and Lara were there for us and we were so grateful to have them. My husband and I still talk about how amazing she and her team were, we even had compliments from our family and friends about her. She and her team will always have a special place in our hearts. Highly recommended.

I will start with that Georgia is a queen and made our wedding day just so magical. From the first day I wrote to her, she responds immediately. Before I found Georgia I had been in contact with other wedding planners but it could take days before they answered my questions. This is not the case with Georgia. She made us feel like we could relax beacuse she had it all under control by just asking us what we wished for on our special day. She's the best!! Georgia Louise is my Italian Fairy God-Mother. Coming from Texas, I put all my faith and trust in Georgia, her team, and her recommended vendors and they 100% made all of my dreams come true. Georgia is present, hard working, easy to communicate with, and no matter what will stand up for you as her bride. These are qualities you hope for in a wedding planner, and we were so blessed to get them with Georgia.
It is possible to get married in Lake Como without seeing the venues or tasting any of the food when you have Georgia. She Facetimed with me basically the entire town of Varenna before I had selected Villa Cipressi as a venue. She called me on Sundays, any day of the week and at any time even when I told her she shouldn’t work so hard! She really wants the best for her brides and she wants us to feel secure and settled about our wedding.
Georgia went above and beyond for our other events leading up to our wedding. We requested a Rehearsal Dinner – very typical in the states but not in Italy, and her team put together the most wonderful dinner in a perfect setting on the lake. Georgia was sure to use different colors, patterns, and textures in her design for the Rehearsal Dinner so it would not conflict with the main event- Wedding Day.
Her right hand lady and extraordinary designer/painter, Laura, exceeded all expectations with designing and creating the Welcome Letter, Itinerary, Table Plan, Menu, and Wedding Brochure. Her attention to detail and work ethic are commendable and truly appreciated.
I cannot express my true appreciation and love for Georgia Louise and her team. This past year planning and deciding details was not the horrible, stress fest that my American wedding friends experience. I was having the time of my life planning and dreaming up our wedding and then finally seeing it all come together was a dream come true. Our Lake Como destination wedding was truly one for the record books, all thanks to the hardwork of Georgia Louise. We are forever grateful to Georgia, her team, and the vendors; our friendship and love I will never forget!

We had the most beautiful wedding in Italy, in the most incredible venue and all with the help of Georgia. She took care of every detail: she helped us choose wisely every vendor, she advised us in every problem that we encountered. She is very professional and hard working, responding quickly to all requests.

Working with Georgia on the wedding planning process was truly one of the best decisions I could have made. Planning a wedding on Lake Como from another country was a stressful and difficult process, but being able to work with Georgia was such a stress relief! Georgia is an incredibly supportive, detail oriented, funny, and professional wedding planner and these are all characteristics that I valued in her throughout our time working together. I looked forward to our Zoom calls together, and she was always there to handle any issues that came up during the planning process, no matter what time I emailed her or Whatsapped her.

Her coordination skills on the day of the wedding were absolutely invaluable, especially because it rained at the exact moment guests were leaving the church to travel to the cocktail hour venue. Without her quick thinking and coordination, this could have absolutely caused chaos in the wedding timeline, but everyone was managed and cared for to allow the family photos, couples photos, and cocktail hour to be perfectly executed. Georgia handled so many details behind the scenes that day, and yet she always approached me with a smile so that I did not have to worry about anything on the wedding day except being able to enjoy myself. This, to me, is truly the mark of an excellent wedding planner and Georgia certainly is that. I will forever be thankful for her ability to help me blend both American and Italian traditions on the day of our wedding, and helping me pull off something that was a massive undertaking.

In addition to her services, her calligraphers services were also incredibly beautiful. Laura worked with us and provided us with professional presentations of different options we were able to have to create custom wedding signs, menus for the food and drinks, and seating cards. She was incredibly flexible with us, despite last minute changes to things, and worked with us every step of the way to create beautiful things based on our visions. We highly recommend utilizing these services in addition to Georgia’s wedding planning services and cannot thank this team enough for their help!!

We can't express enough how glad we are that we chose Georgia Louise Weddings. From the beginning, Georgia communicated very well, and made us feel at ease with planning a wedding. She took care of everything for us and ensured our day was exactly how we wanted.

Planning was organized and structured. Each zoom meeting we had addressed another part of our wedding. Georgia made made sure to keep us updated with emails in between.
It was very convenient to have our own website that we could scroll through and view different vendors. She has a selection of vendors that she's worked with and we could view all of their portfolios. Everyone on Georgia's team that we interacted with was professional and easy to work with.
