I had the opportunity to photograph the most incredible couple at a garden wedding editorial at Villa Pizzo. Of course the grounds were stunning and the staff was wonderful, but the thing that stood out most was the secluded feeling of peace and luxury that comes upon you once you pull in the gate.

I expected to be blown away when working at Villa Pizzo. I did NOT expect to fall in love with it. But I certainly did.

I rarely repeat venues as a destination wedding photographer, I love to go new places all the time. But Villa Pizzo is a place I will return for future weddings in a heartbeat, because it's truly the most magical venue I've ever been to, in almost a decade of being a luxury wedding photographer who travels worldwide.

As a US-based couple planning a luxury destination wedding in Europe, we could not have asked for a better experience. We recently returned home to the USA after our incredible wedding in Lake Como, Italy, and every detail exceeded our expectations.

Location meravigliosa, da togliere il fiato. La luce di novembre e il cielo sereno hanno sicuramente aggiunto qualcosa. Prenotazione obbligatoria per giro guidato, ma 15 euro spesi benissimo sia per il posto sia per qualità e quantità delle spiegazioni.

Un incanto: il lago in inverno è meraviglioso.
Freddo, molto, ma nulla in confronto allo spettacolo che offre la visita di questa villa e questo immenso parco.
Tutto molto ben curato, la vista spazia da Como fino alla parte a nord che guarda verso Bellagio.
Ottima visita guidata: la nostra guida, Clara, ci ha accompagnato per oltre due ore alla scoperta della storia e del patrimonio naturale di questa villa.
Visita guidata assolutamente consigliata, possibilità di parcheggiare all'interno (circa una quindicina di auto, quindi meglio assicurarsi prima, telefonicamente o via mail che ci sia posto).

Bellissima villa, aperta solo per visite guidate nei mesi di Marzo-Maggio! Durante l’estate la villa resta quasi sempre chiusa perché sede di eventi.
La visita guidata è interessantissima! La proprietà è del 1439, e la sua storia è ricchissima!

In questo periodo in cui il Coronavirus la fa da padrone, una nota piacevole è aver potuto visitare questa meravigliosa villa e parte dei giardini, nel mese di agosto 2020, in quanto i proprietari non svolgono la loro consueta attività di organizzazione eventi (soprattutto matrimoni).
Facile da raggiungere due km dopo Villa d'Este e parcheggio all'interno della Villa (la visita è organizzata da Villago).
Gli ambienti interni visitabili sono ben tenuti ed estremamente ricchi di storia....il giardino è il più esteso del lago di Como e sicuramente meraviglioso e ricco di notevoli sorprese.
Vale la visita... e molto probabilmente anche in autunno quando la natura si esibisce nel foliage stagionale.
