We had a wonderful stay in a villa that came with a separate bedroom and a comfortable lounge area, which made it feel spacious and relaxing. Breakfast offered a good variety, and the staff were generally very helpful and attentive throughout our stay.

The highlight was definitely the beach — a stunning stretch of coastline, and truly one of the finest beaches I’ve seen in Europe. A beautiful setting and a memorable experience overall.

PRESI ALLA GOLA!!

Abbiamo avuto l'occasione di soggiornare al Conrad resort e devo dire che è stata una buona idea sceglierlo, siamo stati veramente bene. Abbiamo scelto di pranzare al Bioacquam con un panorama mozzafiato.
(Io la chiamerei FORTUNA) fortuna perché abbiamo avuto l'opportunità di assaggiare la cucina di una cuoca che a mio e nostro parere si potrebbe definire "HO FATTO L'AMORE CON IL SAPORE" . Grazie Ester potessi venire spesso a trovarti e mangiare da te sarebbe fantastico... Grazie alla gentilissima barman del Bioacquam per l'accoglienza e professionalità. Un posto magnifico ma soprattutto una grande cucina. Spero di ritrovarvi.

L’hotel è molto bello e ben curato negli spazi comuni, ma purtroppo alcuni servizi non sono all’altezza di un 5 stelle. La spa è a pagamento e piuttosto piccola, inoltre in caso di maltempo è utilizzabile solo in parte, poiché la maggior parte delle piscine è all’aperto. Le camere vengono pulite solo al mattino e la pulizia, seppur buona, manca di quelle attenzioni particolari che ci si aspetterebbe da una struttura di questo livello.

Un punto di grande valore è invece rappresentato dal personale: in piscina abbiamo trovato ragazzi eccezionali, in particolare un giovane di nome Ismaele che si è distinto per professionalità e gentilezza. In sala, Elettra è stata fantastica: sempre sorridente, disponibile e attenta, si ricordava di noi e ci accoglieva con calore in ogni momento.

Il cibo è buono, anche se a cena la scelta risulta un po’ limitata.

In sintesi: struttura molto bella, ma con margini di miglioramento nei servizi. L’esperienza è stata resa piacevole soprattutto grazie al personale, davvero eccellente.

Siamo stati bene al Conrad a Settembre 2025.
Cose che non mi sono piaciute sono la spa, che non è all’altezza di altri 5 stelle in Italia, e l’hotel in generale all’esterno che sembra piuttosto datato.
I punti di forza sono stanze, spiaggia, cibo, e alcuni membri del personale. In particolare Aurora alla reception che è sempre stata gentilissima e ha giocato con nostro figlio, e Manuela alla spa che ha fatto ottimi massaggi.
La spiaggia non è comoda da raggiungere ma è meravigliosa, con sabbia morbida e acqua cristallina. Ci siamo trovati molto bene sia al ristorante Dune per pranzo che alla Terrazza per cena. Mezza Pensione decisamente consigliata, in quanto tutto ha prezzi decisamente superiori alla media fuori dall’hotel.

We stayed for five nights purely for vacation. The overall feeling was very private, facilities are relatively new, and service across all departments was excellent.

Service
Concierge service was outstanding – Aurora at the front desk was especially warm and welcoming. Housekeeping was frequent and thoughtful, which is very suitable for a beach holiday when you shower several times a day. Turn-down service was a nice touch. Luggage staff and other attendants were consistently attentive. At Monte Cogoli beach, the coach (possibly Alicia) provided daily stretching and aqua gym sessions, which were fun, professional, and really enhanced the experience.

Dining
Breakfast was varied, with ample gluten-free and vegan options. Table-service dishes were also plentiful, though for guests staying more than three nights, some rotation would be appreciated. As half board guests, we found the restaurant output a bit inconsistent: some dishes were too salty or too bland, and desserts were disappointing. However, staff always responded well when we gave feedback. On the positive side, the local pane carasau and roast suckling pig were truly delicious.

Room & Facilities
The room was comfortable with a spacious terrace, though not particularly surprising. Location is one hour from the airport, and while the outside town feels run-down, the resort itself feels like a world apart. The spa was fine, but many facilities had mosaic tiles falling off – not acceptable for this price range. Pools were few, small, and shallow, so not very attractive. The gym is modern and well-equipped, though too small during morning peak hours.

Beach & Environment
The two private beaches are wonderful, and although you need a golf-cart shuttle, it is convenient. The natural scenery is beautiful and very relaxing. Beach umbrellas are charged by row (55€ for the first line). It’s not too expensive but does give a “hmm” feeling.

Value & Summary
During shoulder season the value for money is still very high, and we would consider returning. The highlight is definitely the quality of the private beaches and the well-trained service team. Suitable for couples, families, or solo travelers. Even though late check-out wasn’t available, the hotel provided a courtesy room for shower and rest before the flight, which was very thoughtful.

The hotel has a great location with easy access to the beach, and most of the staff were helpful. However, as some other reviews have noted, this is not a true resort or 5-star experience. When it comes to details, the property is lacking. Maintenance needs more attention — we noticed many uneven walking surfaces that caused us to trip a few times, which could be a serious issue for anyone with disability. Beach umbrellas also need fixing, and in our room the artwork and some furniture were noticeably slanted. Small things, but they affect the overall impression.

Service had some hiccups as well. After dinner, we were unexpectedly asked by the hostess whether we had paid our bill, which felt awkward. At the beach, we were refused front row seating until we pointed out that we’re Hilton Diamond members. Honestly, the whole front-row seating policy is uncomfortable — it should really be first come, first served, regardless of membership status.

Overall, a good stay thanks to the location and beach access, but the details and service need improvement to be a true 5 star experience.

Loved the beach set up, that’s why we came, beach is one of the best in Sardinia. It was the highlight of the trip for sure. There is a private beach area and a restaurant delivering food to your sunbed - or you can sit at the restaurant which was always a fast and excellent experience whilst fairly priced. Area around the restaurant is lovely to chill out. Also the staff was very nice.
Still, not a 5 star experience. Noisy room, no welcome gift, no free water at the beach (4 Seasons gives all guests a cooler bag with water in it for the day). Transport to the beach was messy with guests not respecting the queue and staff doing nothing about it. Impossible to pay by card at the beach bar. Beach bar quite limited in drinks selection, had to go to the beach hut nearby. TV channels not working, no Netflix. In 2025. No free access to spa. All of this is free in most 5* hotels in the world. Italy still needs to improve on its luxury experience.

Schöne Hotelanlage in sehr guter Lage. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Der Shuttle zum Strand hat uns gut gefallen, obwohl man auf dem Rückweg ins Hotel etwas länger warten musste.
Leider hat der Check-In nicht so reibungslos funktioniert. Wir konnten erst eine Stunde später als geplant in unser Zimmer.

Ansonsten müsste der Pool oben mal gemacht werden

This place is absolutely amazing! We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights, and there was never a dull moment.

The Conrad’s private beach was a highlight — while you could still see the public nearby, there was a clearly designated area just for Conrad guests. We spent several days there, soaking up the sun and enjoying the gentle sea breeze.

We also visited another beach during our trip, and on the way, we had the joy of seeing flamingos! Watching them take flight was such a dreamy and unforgettable moment.

The food was fantastic — we got to try different restaurants every day without repeating a single one. Breakfast was also a treat we looked forward to each morning.

If I really had to find a downside, it would be the bees. There were quite a few around when dining outdoors without shelter, and I even saw children crying because of them. Hopefully, the hotel can find a way to manage this better in the future.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Conrad Key Laguna, Sardinia. The staff is absolutely lovely — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Stefano, whom we were delighted to see again after more than ten years. He is still just as kind and thoughtful as ever, and it was a real pleasure to reconnect.

The whole team made us feel completely at home throughout our stay. The hotel's proximity to the sea is a real highlight — easily accessible either by shuttle or by foot. Dining at the restaurant was also a treat; the food was delicious and the atmosphere delightful.

Thank you again to everyone at Conrad Key Laguna for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay with my husband. Everything was perfect. The hotel has a stunning view and offers access to two beautiful beaches, both of them truly impressed us. The food was delicious, and the cleanliness of the room (which is very important to us) exceeded our expectations. Definitely recommended!

One of my favorite stays on the island of Sardinia. I cannot begin to describe how amazing the entire staff was, if a hotel experience is broken down into service and hospitality, this hotel hits both marks. Overall I give this a 4.7-4.8 out 5. The general manager Stefano was a game changer and an instant positive force at welcoming us to the hotel as well as making sure our stay was the most enjoyable.

Our room was a deluxe king suite with ocean views, and it did not disappoint, tons of space, comfortable mattress, nice bathroom. The terrace outside was also huge.

Everything in the hotel was incredibly clean and I felt that I could talk to any one of the staff and they would be happy to help.

Some things to note that would pull from the stated 5 star rating…While the spa was nice the outdoor area certainly needed some landscaping help and new umbrellas, the pool tiles were also coming off (very small things that don’t detract much from the experience, but at a 5star resort I’d like the overall appearance to be the best.)

I would also note that the food at the more expensive restaurant Osteria may have missed the mark a bit, probably would rate it at a 7-7.25 / 10 . We ate there twice and ordered/tried almost all of the food on the menu.

The resort is also certainly kid/family friendly, so if you’re looking for a boutique/really quiet stay this may not be it. It might be worth it in the future to block off one pool for adults only.

The beach accommodations were perfect and the staff down at the beach were so helpful. Day bed/cabanas are pretty cheap for the day (200 euro) and front row chairs are 80/day - well worth the price.

Again, to all the staff that made our stay memorable, thank you so much.

Sehr gute Lage als Ausgangspunkt zu wunderschönen Stränden und reizvoller Landschaft. Der Hotelgarten und die Poollandschaft ist sehr gepflegt und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet, das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist qualitativ sehr gut gewesen. Nach einigen Tagen hätten wir uns mehr Abwechslung gewünscht.

a truly stunning hotel , very picturesque and peaceful
the reception staff were extremely helpful and welcoming upon our arrival and throughout our stay.
The lobby is very nice and the general decor is great.
Nice views of mountains, the lagoon and the sea from most places in the hotel
the room was spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom. the balcony was massive

The swimming pool is fantastic, lovely area to sit with great views.
Only thing is the other smaller pools and the spa cost extra for guests and are not included which is not clear on booking.

the breakfast is good, and we ate dinner there once which was alright - the service can be a bit slow at breakfast for coffee etc but the buffet is very nice

would recommend going end of may or june as its cheaper and a lot quieter than July and August but the weather is still good

No parece un hotel de 5 estrellas , más bien de 3. No se corresponde el precio con los servicios.
Las habitaciones con los enchufes medio rotos. La TV no tiene aplicaciones, las slippers de cartón súper incómodas y mucha mucha humedad dentro de la habitación.
La limpieza dejaba mucho que desear, de hecho la terraza no la limpiaron durante dos días y al final tuvimos que dejar la taza del café en la mesa de afuera para que al menos salieran.
El personal a la hora del desayuno o la cena miraba con cara de pocos amigos, menos Federico que era encantador.
El restaurante La terraza las porciones de comida más bien escasas, de hecho para 3 personas pedíamos siempre 4 platos.
Respecto al tema sin gluten en el desayuno sí que había varios tipos de pan pero la mayoría estaban rancios porque caducaban este mes o al siguiente. De dulces no había ninguna opción más que unas galletas con miel.
Solo estaba ese restaurante abierto y a pesar de haber pocas personas siempre a la hora de reservar para la cena nos tenían a la espera hasta confirmar la reserva.
El spa ha sido el primero que vi que era al aire libre, no había chorros, el jacuzzi de la parte de arriba tenía un montón de azulejos sueltos lo cual puede ser peligroso.
Todas las tiendas estaban cerradas.
El gimnasio bastante bien, máquinas modernas.
El acceso a la playa bien montado y bonito aunque demasiado aire.
Me dejé las sandalias y no me dieron ni la oportunidad de mandarlos al hotel de Cagliari donde estuve otros 3 días , encima me quieren cobrar una tasa de 60€ ya que el hotel proporciona la aplicación de Lhost pero me comentaron que habían elegido un paquete gigante para unas chanclas que no ocupan nada.
Ni volvería, ni lo recomendaría.

We went during mid April, which I would not recommend to anyone when considering booking this hotel. The hotel was beautiful, but ultimately we left very frustrated because so many of the hotel’s restaurants and amenities were not open yet and we had no idea that would be the case prior to booking. I’m sure this hotel is amazing during the summer, but I wouldn’t book it again for April. I think it’s frustrating that they’d even accept bookings before they are fully open for the season.

Pros:
•Hotel is beautiful, rooms are spacious, everything felt very clean
•Spa was nice, had a massage and facial and both were great
•Staff that work at the kid’s club were wonderful. Front desk staff were also very nice.
•The shuttle to the beach was easy, and they have a nice private beach area with chairs and towels

Cons:
•Only one restaurant was open (out of 8!) and the food was just honestly not good. We had to eat there every day as there were no other options, so we tried a LOT of the menu, and it was mostly just very bland food.
•We paid for half board which included breakfast and dinner- but apparently zero drinks were included (even water- got charged for water every night even when dinner was “included”).
•None of the shops were open and there is not much else nearby if you need to purchase anything

Sitio espectacular donde pasar unos días de vacaciones disfrutando de unas playas paradisíacas en un complejo hotelero fantástico. Este hotel nos sorprendió gratamente. La verdad es que fue una sorpresa ya que me atrevería a decir que es uno de los mejores en los que he estado y cuando reservamos no esperábamos que nos gustara tanto. Sin duda repetiremos. La habitación era amplia con todo lujo de detalles. Las vistas desde el hotel eran muy agradables y las zonas comunes espaciosas. La piscina tenía unas vistas al mar increíbles. El spa estaba enmedio de un agradable jardín lo que te permitía disfrutar de los agradables chorros mientras tomabas el sol. La media pensión en el restaurante La Terrazza valía la pena. El hotel dispone de zona de hamacas en 2 playas cercanas. Para mi gusto Monte Cogoni si no necesitas servicios porque no vas con niños es mucho más bonita aunque desde la otra playa puedes pasar a la siguiente a través de un camino y dar un paseo más largo. El complejo tiene también una zona de bungalows llena de familias con niños muy pequeños pero como es muy grande la verdad es que respira y no nos sentimos agobiados como en otros hoteles con tanto niño. Por poner alguna pega faltaba un poco de limpieza en las zonas comunes entre clientey cliente. Sin duda repetiremos.
