We had been at a wedding of our friends in Lake Garda which Ginny had organised and knew instantly that she would be our wedding planner and that the beautiful Lake Garda would be our wedding location.

Ginny is extremely busy and highly in demand so if you manage to book her in you are extremely lucky. We put our plans off by a couple of months to make sure we were able to have her on our team.

Ginny was so calm, collected, supportive, friendly, patient and organised throughout the entire process. She was always there to pick up the phone, give a steer, make a tough call, offer alternative suggestions, find solutions and just help in whatever way she could. She’s a consummate professional and expert in what she does with so much knowledge of Lake Garda and its various locations so it was unsurprising that everything ran so smoothly - even the last minute decisions and things which I hadn’t thought about.

Ginny was also our celebrant and did a wonderful job for us. She interacted so well with our guests and we were delighted to have her with us for the entire weekend.

Thanks so much Ginny - we’d do it all again in a heartbeat !!!

What can we say—we asked, and you truly delivered. We had the most incredible time celebrating with friends and some family who travelled from the UK after our wedding in Australia.

We had the absolute pleasure of engaging Ginny earlier this year to officiate our wedding at the beautiful Villa Cariola near Lake Garda in October. With me being from Australia and my husband from Italy, it was incredibly important to us that our ceremony be performed in both languages so that all of our guests could feel included and connected.

From our very first conversation, Ginny was nothing short of exceptional. She immediately understood the vision we had for our day and offered thoughtful suggestions and gentle guidance throughout the entire process. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail gave us complete confidence that we were in the very best hands.

Just before the wedding, I asked Ginny if she would also step in as our Master of Ceremonies — and it truly turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Within 24 hours, she had reached out to all of our suppliers, coordinated final details, and seamlessly took charge of everything that had started to feel overwhelming, especially with the added challenge of language barriers. On the day itself, she was an absolute anchor — calm, organised, and reassuring. She allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the day, knowing everything was being handled with grace and care.

Ginny was our wedding planner for over a year and a half, and she was nothing short of spectacular. She is worth every penny and honestly, so much more. Her communication was flawless, no ask was ever too big, and I don't think I ever saw her stressed… which meant I was always calm too!

Planning a wedding abroad can feel overwhelming, but with someone like Ginny by your side, it becomes something you actually enjoy. She made the entire process feel effortless.

She's incredibly talented, endlessly kind-hearted, and always one step ahead. She even went to Primark to pick up flip-flops for my guests, that’s the level of care she gives.

One of the things I appreciated most was how she kept me grounded and gently steered me when needed. Her advice was always spot-on, and I genuinely valued her opinion throughout the journey.

Another incredible thing about Ginny is that she already has an amazing network of trusted vendors and contacts in Gardone Riviera. Everyone knows her there, which made the entire experience feel even more seamless and personal. It’s clear she’s deeply respected in the area, and that gave us so much confidence throughout the planning process. On top of that, I don’t speak any Italian, so having Ginny there to bridge that gap was absolutely invaluable. She handled everything with such ease, and I never once felt lost or out of my depth.

I can’t recommend Ginny enough. She’s a rare gem in the wedding world. If you have the chance to work with her, take it. She’s worth ten times more!

We can’t say enough good things about working with Ginny for our wedding in Italy! From the very beginning, she made the entire planning process feel easy and stress-free. Her communication was always prompt and clear, and she truly took the time to understand our vision. Even though Marcus and I booked the venue sight unseen and didn’t see it in person until five days before the wedding, we felt completely confident in her hands—and we were right to be.

Ginny has incredible relationships with local vendors, and you can tell they love working with her. Every detail was handled with care, and everything came together beautifully. On the day of our wedding, it started raining right before dinner, but Ginny seamlessly executed the backup plan and moved everything under the tent. Most of our guests didn’t even realize there had been a change—it was that smooth.

Ginny also went above and beyond to bring all of our extra ideas to life. From sourcing local items for the welcome bags to hanging a giant neon sign, printing a giant crossword, arranging a gelato cart, and creating a cigar and whiskey bar—she found a way to make it all happen, and every detail added so much personality and joy to the celebration.

On top of everything else, Ginny also officiated our ceremony. It was so special to have her be a part of it in such a meaningful way! The ceremony was absolutely beautiful—personal, heartfelt, and unforgettable!!

Thanks to Ginny, we were able to fully enjoy our day knowing everything was taken care of. She brought our dream wedding to life, and we are so grateful. We can’t wait to return to Lake Garda to catch up with Ginny soon!!!

We planned our wedding ourselves, as Ginny was fully booked; however, she provided a translation service for us, her expertise and assistance were invaluable throughout the process. We couldn't have done it without her. She translated our documents and provided translation services on the wedding day. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ginny. I would also suggest that if you're planning a wedding, paying extra for a planner is worthwhile, and you get booked in early, like 2 years early as it can be very stressful otherwise.

Thankfully we found Ginny, which made the process seamless. Ginny offered unwavering support and consistent communication through the planning process, and across all three days of our celebration. No ask was too big. In fact, Ginny even stepped in last minute and saved the day to officiate our wedding as our celebrant was in an unfortunate motor bike accident (Andreas, we hope you are well and wish you a speedy recovery). Ginny delivered our ceremony with absolute class. Outstanding is an understatement. As Ginny had spent so much time with us on the lead up to the wedding, she was able to add in humour and talk to our personalities as we had developed such a strong relationship with Ginny over 18 months.

I could list a million things in which Ginny exceeded our expectations. She is an absolute delight to work with. Personable, funny, enthusiastic, diligent, hardworking and dedicated are a few words I would use to describe Ginny. Getting married at Lake Garda seemed like an impossible dream, and it would have been without Ginny. Ginny didn’t just make it possible, but she ensured perfection.

Throughout the planning phase Ginny’s recommendations were fantastic, her communication was great, and how promptly she was able to get things done was incredible. I messaged Ginny at 6am saying we’ve decided to get a band… by 9am I had a list of bands and videos of each!

On the wedding day, everything went so smoothly, whether it was down to Ginny dealing with issues that arose, or Ginny’s experience/relationships with the venues etc I will never know, but it could not have gone any better. Many of the guests also commented on what an amazing job Ginny was doing throughout the day. (Including locating the bride’s bouquet for the photographs and also the part time babysitting our daughter when we visited the venues a few days prior to the wedding)

Despite all of this, I have no intentions of becoming a repeat customer. But would highly recommend Ginny to anybody who wants to get married at Lake Garda, buy has no idea where to start. Place your trust with Ginny and you will have a wedding everybody will remember.

Ginny has all the qualities we could have hoped for in a wedding planner - calm, organised and a no ask is too much attitude.

She truly wants to bring your vision to life, guiding you and providing the much needed hand holding but doesn’t try to influence you on the big decisions. Entertainment was very important for us and it took a while to find the right band, but Ginny was patient and constantly finding new options until we found the perfect one, which she absolutely nailed!!

If you are considering Weddings at Lake Garda as your wedding planner, DO IT! Everyone at our wedding said it was the most amazing wedding they had ever been to and all of the credit goes to Ginny.
Ginny's calm demeanour makes you feel comfortable immediately and her genuine passion for wedding planning only makes you more excited for your big day.
Ginny's wealth of experience also makes a HUGE difference because she considers things you won't think about it and she always proposes options immediately for these as she has a wide network of vendors in the area.
Ginny is super flexible and accommodating. She drove to multiple venues all around Lake Garda for us to FaceTime us so we could see options via FaceTime since we couldn't be there in person.
Finally, she is extremely responsive and its obvious she loves her work. We live in Australia and planned our wedding from abroad during covid, so I expected some bumps in the road during wedding planning however I was not once stressed throughout the entire process. I am typically an easily stressed person, so this was especially appreciated!
