Words can’t describe what an incredible wedding week we had here enjoying every corner of this incredible villa - from rooftop moments and poolside spritzes, to cook-offs in the kitchen, long dinners in the grand hall, cocktail hour in the courtyard, and unforgettable parties among the wine barrels.

What an incredibly beautiful villa, filled with stories from centuries past. We’re still pinching ourselves! We already want to go back. Highly recommend this magical place for an unforgettable stay with your nearest and dearest.

We decided to host our wedding at Villa Gioia in September.
Villa Gioia is just the most magical place, such a beautiful setting.
We stayed at the villa for 7 nights with close family included, so the villa really was used to its full potential (21 guests) Lots of space so you could never feel it was over crowded. Not only very beautiful but a very peaceful, calming place to be.
The Villa Gioia team were amazing. They could help with anything and totally in the Italian way, nothing was a problem. They helped us with recommendations of vendors and what they can provide for you themselves. It was all made very easy for us.

The food on our wedding day was excellent and our wedding cake was exceptional, everyone loved it! It was all organised so well…The following day we had a pool party, with a bbq provided, this was also very good.

We really did have the most wonderful wedding experience, memories we will treasure forever. Hopefully one day we will return!

We got married at Villa Gioia in October 2025, staying at the villa for 4 days. Everything about Villa Gioia is absolutely perfect and beautiful - the rooms are all spacious and exceptionally clean, there’s so much room in the villa and the grounds are kept impeccable too.

Luisa, Silvana and Massimo were extremely communicative and were there to help with all our questions/queries - the WhatsApp group they created was invaluable and helped us get quick time responses. They were transparent about costs from the start and gave us fantastic suggestions of vendors to use such as the celebrant Valeria, the florist Aldo, the caterers & bar staff and the transportation. We sourced a lot of extra vendors ourselves and they all fitted into our day seamlessly with Luisa doing an excellent job coordinating them.

I was blown away by how beautiful our table set up was with the flowers and candles. This and my bouquet exceeded all expectations of what I had envisioned and I couldn’t have been happier.

The villa is pure magic and the perfect wedding location. There are so many different parts that can be utilised and the winery is a real showstopper for the dance floor!!

Thanks for making our wedding so incredible and special and I really do hope we’ll be back one day!

We booked Villa Gioia for our wedding over a year ago, which we just celebrated on September 20th, and honestly, I don’t even know where to start. From the very first moment, Silvana, Luisa, and Massimo made us feel completely at ease. The second we booked, they reached out right away to kick off the planning, sending all the info we needed and even created a group chat so everything was organized in one place. And as anyone who’s planned a wedding knows, organization is everything- so we immediately felt like we were in good hands.

In April, I had the opportunity to visit the property for a walkthrough with Luisa, who was there to greet us with open arms. She even spoiled my mother and me with a full tasting experience (the whole menu with wine pairing and dessert- which made me so excited for the wedding day.) Being part of an Italian family, my mother and I felt an instant connection and kinship with Luisa. She made us feel like a true priority, never an afterthought. Her hospitality, patience, and willingness to answer our endless questions was very much appreciated, especially since planning a wedding in a foreign country can be a bit intimidating.

Throughout the planning, Massimo, Silvana and Luisa kept on top of everything for us, they also recommended outstanding vendors, as well as transportation services for our guests, ensuring that every detail was lovingly taken care of. In the last few months when things started to get busier and more stressful, they handled last-minute requests with such grace and empathy, and even added little personal touches that made our wedding feel even more special. Shout out to Massimo here because he works with so much professionalism and is always focused on finding solutions, delivering a luxurious experience within our budget and without any hidden surprises. Overall, every choice felt collaborative with them- never transactional or forced. That kind of intuition and care is rare in the wedding industry, and it made such a difference for us. Massimo, Luisa, Silvana, and their dedicated staff genuinely treated us like family.

When our wedding day finally arrived, it honestly surpassed all expectations. Silvana and her catering team were not only professional, but absolutely top tier- every one of my guests kept talking about the food and service- how incredible everything tasted and how amazing the staff was. Also, I didn’t have a wedding planner, so at first I felt a little nervous about how everything would come together. But as soon as I saw how seamlessly everything was handled, I felt completely at ease. Silvana was such a loving and calm presence in the midst of all the chaos. She stood with me in quiet moments, offering support and reassurance that I’ll never forget. Both Silvana and Luisa made sure the staff stayed perfectly on schedule and that every final detail we envisioned was brought to life exactly as we’d hoped.

And then there’s the property itself!! This 300-year-old masseria is straight out of a movie. It feels like a masterpiece, part work of art, part museum, and yet also a home filled with love. I wholeheartedly recommend Villa Gioia. Our wedding was the most extraordinary day of our lives, made possible by our amazing hosts and their incredible team. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care are truly one of a kind. This is all to say- if you’re considering Villa Gioia, take the time to appreciate every exquisite detail, honour the space, and feel the care and love their family has poured into it. We can’t wait to return for our first anniversary and soak in a bit of that unforgettable magic again. Simply put, Massimo, Luisa, and Silvana are remarkable humans, and Villa Gioia is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

A huge thanks to Luisa, Massimo and Silvana for a fantastic week at Villa Gioia. We hired the Masseria in September 2025 for our wedding. We hosted our family and guests at the villa around the wedding and had a week we will never forget. The villa is beautiful, comfortable and has tonnes of historic charm and character. Luisa and family were so, so helpful during planning visits and over email and whatsapp conversations to make the week perfect. Luisa was able to help with many other details that made the week perfect: from arranging taxis (big thank you Albert); catering; excursions for our guests and more, as well as so much support coordinating with our wedding planner and vendors. We cannot say enough good things and our guests had an unforgettable trip. The villa is beautfiul in summer with the gardens and fruit trees in bloom, and the pool is perfect for relaxing and entertaining. We wish we were back. The food on our wedding day was incredible and a real highlight: thank you Francesco, Livio, Antonio and all the food team - from the live corners to the guidance, service scheduling and support on the day, you made it perfect. A big thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Our wedding at Masseria Villa Gioia was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the venue and the incredible care and dedication of the entire team who brought our dream day to life.

The villa itself is stunning, and the atmosphere created with the breathtaking floral arrangements was unforgettable. Aldo, the florist was pure artistry, filling every corner with elegance, the arrangement’s were beautiful and everything I had dreamt of. The catering was equally phenomenal. Every single dish was delicious and beautifully presented, and Antonio, along with the entire catering team, went above and beyond to make sure our guests were looked after with warmth and professionalism.

We are especially grateful to Luisa, Silvana, and Massimo, who worked tirelessly to ensure that everything ran seamlessly. The warmth and love we felt from Luisa and Silvana made our four-day stay feel like home they cared for us as though we were family, and that is something we will treasure forever. Their attention to detail, kindness, and genuine passion for what they do made all the difference.

The villa’s recommended vendors were also outstanding. From the music to the, hair, flowers, and beyond, every person we worked with exceeded our expectations and made the experience stress-free, joyful, and unforgettable.

We truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting or a more dedicated team to make our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. Masseria Villa Gioia will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. We will be back ❤️

We just had our dream wedding at the beautiful Villa Gioia and can't recommend it enough for anyone hoping for a rustic, laid back Italian vibes. It was everything we dreamed of and more thanks to the attentive service of Maria Luisa, Silvana and Massimo, the villa owners. From the moment I inquired into the villa as a possible wedding venue we were given so much information on what to expect with the owners organising all the incredibly talented vendors so we didn't have too. Having a WhatsApp chat with the owners made the wedding planning feel effortless as they would respond to enquiries so quickly always with a yes answer or providing a solution. From the moment we arrived at the villa with our family and friends Maria Luisa was on hand to help with anything during our stay including booking taxis and airport transfers which was a huge help for many of our party who didn't have hire cars. On the day of the wedding Maria Lusia and Silvana were both on site coordinating everything with many staff there to ensure the set up was perfect and wow did it look beautiful. The florist Aldo took my brief of Pinterest inspiration and made it come to life, with hundreds of stunning flowers decorating the villa, ceremony tree and my bouquet of flowers. I was also given a bouquet as a gift for my room as I got ready with my bridesmaids. So many thoughtful touches throughout the day made us feel so special. The catering was fantastic and food was great quality with many of our guests commenting on how delicious everything was. Our wine glasses were never empty and I recommend hiring the bar who providing an ongoing flow of cocktails and drinks that kept our guests dancing all night. The villa itself is a breathtaking property with so much history and antiques. It was so much fun and special to stay there and the most beautiful backdrop for a party. The pool area is stunning and was perfect for our 2nd day pool party which we self catered on the large outdoor bbq. If you're thinking of having a wedding in Puglia I really recommend Villia Gioia, not just because the venue is stunning and the vendors are wonderful but also because the owners really do care about your special day, making it easy to plan and so you're able to relax and enjoy your big day!

Our stay at Villa Gioia was truly unforgettable. The owners- Massimo, Luisa, and Silvana went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported. They were incredibly kind and helpful, answering every question with patience and warmth, and were always available to assist in any way they could.

We celebrated our wedding here, and I can honestly say the day was absolutely perfect. Every detail was beautifully thought out, and the setting couldn’t have been more stunning. It felt so personal and special, something we’ll cherish forever.

The villa itself is incredible. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable.The large shared living and dining spaces made it feel like home; we spent evenings cooking dinners together and enjoying long meals in the family room, and afternoons cooling off in the pool and soaking up the sun.

Our group of friends had the best time — the laughter, the views, the hospitality — it was everything we hoped for and more. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate. It was the perfect setting for one of the most meaningful times of our lives.

My husband and I recently got married in September at Villa Gioia and it was beyond anything I could’ve imagined. From the planning stages to the execution stage - Massimo, Luisa and Silvana were fantastic! They were very communicative and helped answered all our questions and concerns. When we needed some help, they were there. They also had a list of trusted vendors that we could reach out to (and we ended up using, they did an amazing job).

The Villa is so historic and really added that extra special touch to the wedding celebrations. It is really such an amazing space with different sections of the Villa to hold different parts of your wedding/party. Silvana and her team were absolutely amazing - the service and the food was more than anything I had expected. We had quite a bit of dietary restrictions to keep in mind but they really did an amazing job to make sure everyone was accommodated for. We had so many wonderful feedback from our guests with regards to the food, decor and atmosphere of our wedding.

We opted for the live corners and the open bar (both were such a hit) and we literally had the opportunity to dance the night away. So pleased with how everything turned out. Luisa was great helping us organize transportation for our guests from/to Corato and on the day as well. Really wished we had more time at the Villa. It is such a special place to us.

10/10 would recommend if you’re thinking of having an Italian wedding!

If it weren’t for the fact that we just married each other, we probably would’ve ended up marrying Luisa and Silvana, and gotten Massimo as our brother-in-law. Mama Lu, Silvana, and Massimo – you're the best!

Villa Gioia was everything we could have ever wished for, but more importantly, so was the team. When planning a wedding abroad, the venue is important – but if the people on the ground are hard to communicate with or lack experience in hosting weddings, it doesn’t matter how beautiful the location is. From our very first point of contact with V.G, we could sense that the villa is not only an amazing place, but also run by genuine, experienced, and wonderful people (and let me tell you, I was probably in touch with half of southern Italy's wedding venues before finding V.G, so I have quite some experience with speaking to both venues and vendors lol).

We highly recommend getting married at Villa Gioia. Investing in Luisa and her team as wedding coordinators and planners is something we cannot recommend enough (!!!). The same goes for Silvana and Massimo – without their help, structure, warmth, and dedication, this journey would not have been nearly as enjoyable or successful as it was.

The house is charming and beautiful, the food was impeccable, and the winery provided a unique and fantastic space for the dance floor. We truly only have good things to say about Villa Gioia.
