What a magical place! Angela and Alessandro have transformed this property into a haven of beauty, relaxation and joy. The perfect blend of history and modern amenities. Highly recommend booking the private chef experience and signing up for breakfast each morning to start your day! Assuming you have a rental car, the property also serves as a fantastic home base to explore Tuscany. As hosts, A & A are top notch. Very responsive, attentive and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend and book again.

We had a group of 4 adults staying for a week, and had a wonderful stay. The location is picturesque, the hosts are friendly, prompt, and flexible, and the rooms were exquisite. Everything was clean, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. The experience was like staying at a luxury boutique hotel in the middle of beautiful Tuscan hillside. The breakfast and the private chef were amazing.

We enjoyed a fabulous family getaway with two adults and kids aged 8 and 12—everything was spot on and matched the listing’s photos precisely. The villa offered the perfect quiet retreat we hoped for. Our expectations were exceeded: from the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into the pictures. Service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, yet wonderfully unobtrusive. Every morning, breakfast exceeded expectations—fresh, delicious, and a lovely way to start our days together. The peaceful surroundings provided ample rest and relaxation while remaining accessible to charming nearby towns. Our children felt right at home, lounging by the pool and playing indoors with ease. This stay was a rare gem: peaceful, picture-perfect, and genuinely delightful. We left feeling refreshed, connected, and already dreaming of our next visit.

What can we say except that this family run Italian stay is a masterclass in all things you want whilst experiencing Tuscany. |The accommodation is incredible, expansive and extremely artistically and attentively decorated. |The hosts Alessandro and Angela were so kind and thoughtful. |The venue itself is so peaceful and calming that we really wish we had longer there. |It genuinely felt like being with friends and family except in the most incredible setting. |So many great touches from the kitchen diner, the infinity pool, the loungers, the sauna with a viewing window, to the gym and more. |As soon as you arrive you know you are in for a treat and I cannot recommend this place higher. We cannot wait to return.

Loveled the location, staff and property. We spent the week there with our baby and the grandparents. The staff was super welcoming, they prepared us a great diner, breakfast and reserved us a cooking class to learn how to make real pasta. We had samples from their homemade olive oil, jams and honey! It was peaceful, very cozy and gave us an authentic Toscany feel. We really loved it, it was by far the highlight of our trip in Italy! We will come back in the future!

Expect only the highest level of excellence when staying at Podere Cavalbianco!

-My wife and I had the privilege of staying at Podere Cavalbianco for a week during their soft opening in 2023. Our experience was incredible. There was nothing even remotely introductory or lacking from our stay with so much attention placed on the many uniquely memorable details.
This fully restored centuries old historical estate villa located on a private hilltop property offers exquisite scenic views wherever you are; from the deck of the infinity pool, any one of the historically maintained bedroom windows, the spacious outdoor dining area or from the sauna, the vista is breathtakingly beautiful!
-We stayed in the Moraiolo Unit that provided us with a spacious bedroom that was completely self-contained with a fully renovated bathroom including a sink (with storage for toiletries) toilet, bidet and glass shower with gorgeous marble tile everywhere. The room itself was quiet and provided excellent Wifi for our evening pic posts or for contacting and communicating with family back in Canada. There have been places we’ve vacationed where heat or air conditioning was a problem and difficult to control, but not here. Our room had its very own temperature control that provided heat or A/C to whatever temperature we desired. Directly outside our room, we had a quaint living room area for chatting, reading, relaxing or watching TV.
-We were pleasantly surprised to see Cavalbianco branding everywhere; from the monogrammed towels and hangers to the property’s very own brand of olive oil from the olive trees harvested on the property and honey from their bee hives. It turns out that both the branding and logo for Cavalbianco were created by Alessandro, our host and property manager who was an animation artist and supervisor in Canada before moving to Tuscany. Nice touch!
-Alessandro’s wife Angela was the other super-attentive and gracious host we spent time with during our stay. Her attention to detail and client comfort is ‘next level’. From the moment we came out of our room in the morning, we felt like VIP. The conversation was always cordial, sincere and informative. Any question was answered with a level of detail that only someone with a genuine passion, respect and appreciation for Tuscan living could provide.
-Having said that, there was no language barrier at all because Alessandro and Angela lived and worked in Toronto, Canada for many years before moving back to Tuscany so they are fluent in both English and Italian.
-Breakfast was always served in the main / communal dining room area with choices of croissants, yogurt, fruit, coffee and tea. On one of our mornings, we had the incredible pleasure of meeting the owners of the property Franco and Adele who shared so many wonderful memories with us about the origins of Cavalbianco not only as a property, but as a historical passageway that was used by likes of nobility, by religious figureheads while being escorted by Roman soldiers, and a road that was often travelled for religious pilgrimages.
-The relaxation factor is 11/10. The tranquility of lounging on the deck of the heated infinity pool is serene with nothing more than the sound of a quiet breeze and the subtlety of nature. There are plenty of comfortable cushioned loungers, love seats, sofas and pool towels for the sun-lovers with an equal number of umbrellas for the shade-seekers.
-After your swim and if you are so inclined, there is a sauna under the pool deck that offers another lovely view of the Tuscan valley. Of course, this area also includes a change room area, shower and toilet.
-To say it was an amazing experience would be a gross understatement. We tell everyone who is planning to travel to Italy to consider spending some time in Tuscany at Cavalbianco. We will definitely be returning whenever we travel to Italy and we especially look forward to the enjoying the wine & food tasting experiences! From award winning vineyards and Michelin star restaurants, to the many quaint little towns with exquisite views where you may discover the origins of a type of cheese, everything is a stone throw away. There was always a festival, a music concert or special event taking place within minutes of Cavalbianco which provided us with a new adventure or experience every day. ||Also of interest to us was their plans to develop Cavalbianco into a unique and memorable vacation destination that would include cooking experiences, yoga retreats, wine & food tasting experiences|for couples, families or special events (specializing in weddings and anniversaries) as early as 2025.||To say it was an amazing experience would be a gross understatement. We tell everyone who is planning to travel to Italy to consider spending some time in Tuscany at Cavalbianco. My wife and I came here as part of our honeymoon, and we truly did not want to leave. Nestled in the hills of Tuscany, this is the sort of scenic getaway you only see in pictures or movies. It is a beautiful property, and your room will transport you to a different time and era. It is a warm and welcoming stay. ||Nearby, there is much to explore. Towns like Monte San Savino, Siena, and Cortona, to name a few, promise even more to see and do during your stay. Between the sights, the gastronomy, and the people you meet along the way, every spot has something to offer.||Alessandro and Angela are the consummate hosts. The beauty and comfort of our stay here were punctuated by their hospitality and helped make this a trip we won't soon forget. ||Booking your stay at Cavalbianco will not disappoint. Grazie mille!

capisci da quando arrivi al cancello di ingresso che sarai avvolto da abbracci.
Sali lungo la strada che sale sinuosa in collina, verso il borgo, accolto di un capriolo che attraversa la strada e ti guarda curioso, che stai entrando in una favola.
Superato il bosco e il viale di cipressi, pochi metri e i sorrisi di accoglienza delle "donne di casa" ti confermano che sarà così.

Wyjątkowe miejsce! Polecamy z całego serca, widoki wspaniałe klimat Toskanii w 100%, dużo zieleni, obiekt położony jest na wzgórzu - wjazd przez dużą bramę robi wrażenie! Wystrój jest piękny, właściciele zadbali o każdy detal. Wyposażenie na bardzo wysokim poziomie, zarówno w kuchni jak i samych pokojach w tym wiele bardzo dużych telewizorów, osobne klimy w każdym pomieszczeniu, rewelacyjne i bardzo wysokiej klasy kosmetyki w łazienkach. Byliśmy na wakacjach z rodziną i dziećmi, nasz mały 2-latek dostał łóżeczko dla dzieci z możliwością wyregulowania do wieku- było to bardzo pomocne. Rewelacyjny basen z wygodnymi leżakami, widok z basenu nie do opisania! Bardzo czyściutko, dużo przestrzeni, miejsce na grila, duży stół na tarasie z widokiem, siłowni, dodatkowy budyneczek z dużym TV, kuchnią przy tarasie. Z atrakcji, które pomogli nam załatwić właściciele to nauka gotowania, kolacja ze stekami - bardzo polecamy :) Dwa razy wykupiliśmy śniadanie u właścicieli - wszystko pyszne, dużo domowych wypieków, oliwa, konfitury, warzywa - rewelacja. Na koniec dodam, że właściciele są wspaniali, bardzo pomocni, przesympatyczni. Przytoczę jedną z sytuacji, na wakacjach latałam dronem aby zrobić kilka ujęć, dron wpadł mi na bardzo wysokie drzewo bez możliwości samodzielnego ściągnięcia- właściciele sami zorganizowali specjalny samochód z podnośnikiem i Pana, który ściągnął mojego drona. Dodatkowo nie chcieli pobrać opłaty za pomoc - naprawdę spotkać takich dobrych ludzi to skarb. Dziękujemy za wspaniały czas, w prześlicznym miejscu, o które pytają wszyscy nasi znajomi widząc dodawane przez nas zdjęcia. Jesteśmy szczęściarzami, że trafiliśmy na to miejsce :) Na pewno wrócimy w przyszłym roku na wakacje. Miejsce warte każdych pieniędzy :)

Piękne wnętrza z tysiącami idealnie dobranych detali. W 2 apartamentach, w których znajdują się 4 sypialnie, 3 salony z rozkładanym sofami, które można wykorzystać do spania, dwie w pełni wyposażone kuchnie, 2 jadalnie, 5 łazienek. Poza apartamentami znajdują się kuchnia i jadalnia wykorzystywane do śniadań, kolacji. Piękny basen z widokiem na dolinę, 9 leżaków, parasole, kilkanaście miejsc z poduszkami, ręczniki basenowe. Pod basenem sauna z ogromnym oknem widokowym, przebieralnia, toaleta, prysznic. W osobnym budynku siłownia z miejscem do gier i zabaw (olbrzymi TV, lodówka na napoje, itp.). Dwa osobne miejsca do grillowania (grill gazowy i murowany) ze stołami i krzesłami dla kilkunastu osób każdy. 6 zadaszonych miejsc parkingowych w tym 2 ze stacjami ładowania. Całość otoczona piękną zielenią: cyprysy, rozmaryny, lawendy, poniżej gaj oliwkowy, dookoła lasy kasztanowe. Obsługa apartamentów na najwyższym poziomie. 100% czystość. Angela i Alessandro mówią perfekcyjnie po angielsku (Włosi, którzy mieszkali wcześniej w Kanadzie). Chętnie wskażą ciekawe miejsca do odwiedzenia, okoliczne winnice, restauracje, muzea, festiwale i koncerty oraz zorganizują dodatkowe zajęcia (lekcje gotowania, degustacje wina i toskańskich steków, kino, rowery, joga, itp.). Bardzo sympatyczni gospodarze też oferują własną oliwę, miody, warzywa, cytrusy, ciasta. Cudowne miejsce z pięknymi widokami i zapachami z 5* standardem, w którym poczujesz się jak w domu.

We visited this beautiful place back in 2019 and fell in love, not at least because of our lovely host Ilaria. Last year we came back to tuscany and visited the place again, unfortunately it wasn't for rent that time. We are wondering if there's the possibility to rent it for a vacation next year. Ogni volta che vado lì, la mia anima si rinfranca ed ogni pensiero vola via nel vento per lasciare spazio al puro relax.
È un luogo magico dove sembra di toccare il cielo con un dito.
La meravigliosa vista sulla Valdichiana lo rende ancora più speciale.
I proprietari sono favolosi, molto gentili e soprattutto ti fanno sentire a casa, cosa non così scontata al giorno d'oggi.
Consigliatissimo !!!
