What can I say about Light and Dreams! As a couple from the UK getting married in Sicily we didn’t know where to start when looking for a photographer.

We found Light and Dreams on Hitched and after a fabulous Zoom meeting with Sofia and Max we knew they were the one for us.

Sofia and Max could not have been more perfect. They knew exactly what we were wanting from photographs and videography, their work is a work of art. On the day itself they could not have been more helpful, helping the staff coordinate the day, putting our nerves at ease and having a good time with us too! They are now true friends of ours and I cannot wait to visit them in Tuscany!

Sofia was with the ladies and Max with the men in the morning, it was perfect to capture both of our morning memories!

Words cannot capture the depth of my gratitude for Sofia and Max, who brought our dream of a Lake Como wedding to life in the most exquisite way imaginable. From start to finish, they managed every detail, from arranging my hair and makeup artist and bouquet to the complex logistics and the seamless coordination of our officiant. Their communication was exceptional, making the planning process as easy and stress-free as it could possibly be — a miracle for a wedding held in Italy, far from our usual contacts and resources.

Despite two unforeseen changes that arose, they immediately reassured us with ready solutions, handling everything so effortlessly. Sofia even went above and beyond, helping me into my dress on the big day — she’s truly an angel. Having Sofia and Max by our side felt like finding a pair of kindred spirits who were just as invested in our happiness as we were.

And now, the photos and videos… oh, where do I begin? Every frame they captured is pure magic, each one transporting me back to that unforgettable day. Sofia and Max didn’t just document moments; they brought to life the very spirit of our love and celebration. Their talent is exceptional, effortlessly blending artistry and authenticity — the images are beautifully composed, cinematic, and brimming with emotion. I was initially camera-shy, but they put us completely at ease, capturing our genuine selves in a way that feels like a dream come true. To call their work perfect feels like an understatement. I am endlessly grateful for their artistry and warmth; they are, quite simply, two of the loveliest people you could hope to meet. If you’re even thinking about hiring them — just do it. It’ll be the best decision you make (besides saying “I do”)!

Exceptional! The best people, beautiful photos, kindest hearts, top quality! We couldn’t say enough positive things about Max and Sofy. They made our wedding day more special than we ever could have imagined.

They are so easy to work with, making the time we spent with them such an enjoyable process from start to finish! They captured our day absolutely PERFECTLY. They delivered the photos so quickly, and surpassed all expectations. They managed to capture everything we wanted, to the point that we can’t even believe the photos we have a real!

We came to Italy from Canada for our wedding, and we are so thankful we found them, because looking back we can’t imagine our day without them, and did I mention how obsessed we are with our photos?

Sofy e Max li ho trovati per caso cercando sul web, ho organizzato un matrimonio in grande stile e cercavo qualcuno di davvero molto bravo. Per questo ho cercato tra tantissimi e infine ho scelto loro. Il risultato ha superato le aspettative, loro sono stati semplicemente STRAORDINARI!. Sofia and Max are the best photographers we could have chosen! They are very professional and helpful, but most importantly, they are there for you on the most important day of your life to make you feel really special! I really enjoyed getting to know them before the wedding day and they were very helpful and accommodating with our requests. They were not just photographers, but the helpful friend you need to support you over a stressful day. And they make it look so easy!

Sofia was so organised and asked how we wanted to organise the wedding day very well in advance, they helped us schedule the wedding and even provided contacts for vendors we needed. We were always at peace of mind. They knew how to guide us through the process without us even realising we were doing it! It was a super pleasant experience and we are grateful we had them with us on the most important day of our lives! It almost felt as if they were guests of the wedding!

Where to begin!?! Max & Sofia were our photographers at our wedding in Tuscany in July 2022. I cannot praise or recommend them highly enough. They photographed our wedding event over the three days and went over and above in every capacity. Their photography speaks for itself - they actually won two awards for two photos taken just at our event alone. More than just our "photographers" though, Max & Sofia have become really great friends. We had only spoken to them a handful of times, and met just once briefly before the wedding, but yet they were just so easy to work with and my wife and I felt at ease throughout everything. We felt they really listened to what we wanted to capture but they also gave us great guidance on key shots and minor details that we might otherwise have missed.

After much consideration, we decided to use their drone and videography expertise and we could not be happier with the results - see their website for the final product!

In short, my wife and I cannoy thank Max & Sofia enough for everything they have done for us - as photographers and, more importantly, as new found friends. We wish them every success in the future and highly recommend that YOU choose them too!

Passione, originalità e unicità sono le parole che descrivono Sofia e Massimiliano e il loro lavoro. Non sono fotografi da matrimonio convenzionali. Hanno la capacità di immortalare nelle foto i sentimenti e le peculiarità della coppia e dei loro affetti. Sofia and Max of Light&Dreams were our wedding photographers and they were phenomenal. They go above and beyond. You think it's just the photos, but they made everything cohesive, from the lighting to the music to the locales for various activities at the wedding site (cutting the cake, couple photos, etc). They worked with us prior to the wedding to understand what we wanted, which in our case was a lot of live action shots and hardly any posed shots - they were completely amenable and the resulting photos turned out amazingly. Sofia was also completely there for me when suddenly my wedding planner disappeared for an hour - they are much more than just world class photographers! Honestly, I'm so grateful that we chose Light&Dreams, they were a true pleasure to work with and also saved our wedding!

My husband & I worked with Max & Sofia for our wedding in Umbria in September 2021. Our journey with them started from initial enquiry a year earlier and from the first conversation we felt a great energy and understanding from them, and a chemistry sparked from the start. As a husband and wife couple themselves they work amazingly together, complement each other's skills and I believe are able to offer couples something extra as a result.

The months leading up to our wedding were fraught with challenges because of the pandemic and Max & Sofia's kindness, interest and understanding - outside of just the scope of their own work - was really appreciated and helped to put us both at ease.

What really makes Light & Dreams stand out from other photographers is their commitment to capturing your day as you want it to be captured and remembered. And Max & Sofia's passion to deliver amazing results for you means that you don't have lots of strict parameters on what they will and won't offer that we often saw elsewhere in our search.

Fast forward 15mths and we've just received our full suite of edited photos and videos. And they are nothing short of amazing. We'd 100% recommend going to join them in person for the delivery, even if you do live in another country! It provides a wonderful & indulgent opportunity to relive your big day all over again and makes that first look feel really special.

Che dire ... Massimiliano e Sofia sono innegabilmente due professionisti, ma soprattutto sono due persone che ti rimango affianco, ti sostengono, e si affezionano ai loro sposi... Le loro foto parlano... Incontrare Sofia e Max è stata una vera fortuna… sono professionali e alla mano e queste loro caratteristiche hanno consentito la realizzazione di foto uniche e meravigliose! Hanno documentato l’intero matrimonio (anche prima se consideriamo l’engagement), riuscendo in ogni scatto a cogliere le molteplici emozioni vissute, senza mai cadere nel banale. Il video poi è stata la ciliegina sulla torta con il drone e le riprese dall’alto che hanno arricchito il tutto, oltre alla maestria nel legare tra loro, nel trailer, i momenti più significativi della nostra giornata.
Max e Sofia ci hanno accompagnato in questo bellissimo viaggio con i loro scatti, il cui risultato finale ha superato ogni aspettativa tanto che anche il momento della consegna rimarrà indelebile vista la commozione provata! Possiamo solo dire...MERAVIGLIOSI!

Vere e proprie opere d'arte!

Stra-consigliato! Siamo stati due dei temerari che si sono sposati nel 2020! Sofia e Massimiliano sono stati fantastici! Ci hanno accompagnato durante tutto il percorso, ascoltando ogni nostra richiesta e assecondando ogni esigenza! Il giorno del matrimonio ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio! Sono stati discreti, divertenti... Non ci siamo quasi accorti della loro presenza! E che dire? Le loro foto sono mozzafiato! Abbiamo appena ritirato l'album che è una vera e propria opera d'arte! Max and Sofia are amazing photographers. We first met Max when he took some incredible photos for our engagement shoot. We just had to have them take our wedding photos and so Max and Sofia then flew out to London the following year. They both made us feel so relaxed and we had great fun, the photos were perfect.
